Róisín Murphy
[edit]Hello, Karst. This is a courtesy notice that the copy edit you requested for Róisín Murphy at the Guild of Copy Editors requests page is now complete. All feedback welcome! Cheers, Baffle☿gab 21:44, 8 October 2024 (UTC) |
- Hi Karst,I've now finished my copy-edit. I've substantially rearranged the section "Style", removed an unnecessary quotebox and merged some repetitive and fragmented material. In that section I've also spotted a serious error; the now-third paragraph quotes from a review by Heather Phares of Allmusic (ref 72) but when I checked the source to clarify a point, I found that quotation does not come from that review, unless I'm very dense and have missed some text there. I've failed verification on that source. I tried to check the Financial Times source but that is paywalled so I couldn't. Ugh. Please check my edit summaries for specifics. Anyway, I think I've done my best, good luck with the article and cheers, Baffle☿gab 21:44, 8 October 2024 (UTC).
- Thanks so much for the effort there. Greatly appreciated and it has really improved the article! Karst (talk) 07:14, 9 October 2024 (UTC)
Coyne
[edit]Thank you for your great edits at Bursting Bubbles. Long overdue, I regret! I regard Coyne as a genius and this album a notable example of that genius. "Children's Crusade" is particularly wonderful, I think. Martinevans123 (talk) 12:52, 8 October 2024 (UTC)

Re: Soft Machine page
[edit]Hello Karst. I see the Overly detailed and More citations needed tabs you added to the Soft Machine page. I would be happy to help in solving these issues where I can. If you ever get the time and are able to identify which parts of the article need cutting down and where citations are needed, I will try my best to improve these parts. I just don't want to start removing and rewriting information without some consultation with another editor first. Tbf62 (talk) 00:21, 26 October 2024 (UTC)
- Thanks for pining me. I left a section on the Soft Machine talk page outlining my thoughts. I had originally intented to do this but things got in the way. Karst (talk) 15:12, 27 October 2024 (UTC)

[edit]Hello! Voting in the 2024 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 (UTC) on Monday, 2 December 2024. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.
